The all-new FX4 high-performance canister filter is a compact filtration system designed as a smaller sibling to the FX6. It serves as a bridge between the Fluval 406 and the larger FX6 canister filter, making it an excellent choice for aquariums up to 250 US gallons (1000 liters) in size. Self-Starting: Simply add water, plug in the filter, and the Smart PumpTM takes over. It automatically evacuates trapped air every 12 hours to maximize filtration efficiency.

Easy Water Changes: The FX4 eliminates the need to carry heavy buckets during water changes. By attaching a hose to the output (kit sold separately), the Smart PumpTM handles the water change process.
