Zoo Med Naturalistic Terrarium Hood – 12 inch

The Zoo Med Naturalistic Terrarium Hood – 12 inches (LF-50) is designed to be used with 12-inch wide Naturalistic Terrariums (specifically Zoo Med items # NT-1 or NT-2). It comes with a built-in reflector and a single bulb socket, which can be used to install either a heat lamp or a UVB lamp.

For UVB lighting, it is recommended to use Zoo Med’s ReptiSun® 5.0 UVB Compact Fluorescent Lamp, which provides both UVB and UVA light to support the well-being of reptiles.

For daytime heating, you can use Zoo Med’s Daylight Blue™ Reptile Bulb, with a wattage of up to 60 watts.

For 24-hour heating or nighttime heating, you can use Zoo Med’s Nightlight Red™ Reptile Bulb, with a wattage of up to 60 watts.

It’s important to adhere to the recommended wattage limits to ensure the safety and well-being of your reptile in the terrarium. Additionally, this product comes with a 1-year warranty for added peace of mind.
